There’s something undeniably magical about childhood adventures—the thrill of exploring, playing outdoors, and imagining entire worlds right in your own backyard. That spirit is exactly what inspired this whimsical styled shoot, set in the backyard of a charming Airbnb known as the River Oak Bungalow located in historic Eau Gallie, Florida, along the edge of the Indian River Lagoon. With a creative twist on backyard camping, this shoot blended a playful design with bright pops of color to create the dreamiest setting for little explorers.
Table Design
The long picnic-style table, dressed in crisp white linen, became a cozy gathering spot for painting, crafting, and sharing treats. Soft ribbons tied to each chair added pops of color, while bright florals brought a cheerful, camp-inspired touch to the whole setup.
As an activity, the kids decorated their own small picture frames - This kept them busy & engaged with each other until we were eady for the next activity. It was so adorable to see how proud they were to show off what they created.
Bounce House Fun

Just steps away, a modern light blue bounce castle added an unexpected—and absolutely magical—element to the “campground.” This was a huge hit with the kids as it allowed for them to get all of that pent up energy out in between the various activities. Provided by Life of the Party, known for their modern luxe bounce house and ball pit rentals, the castle became the perfect whimsical centerpiece. Decorated with balloon clusters in pinks, oranges, yellows, and a smoky blue; it offered a dreamy, storybook feel that blended beautifully with the theme. Overhead, colorful pennant flags stretched between the trees, swaying in the lagoon breeze and pulling the entire design together.
The Dessert Cart
No backyard campout celebration is complete without sweet treats, and the dessert station brought an irresistible dose of fun to the entire setup.
Luxe Party Karts provided a charming dessert cart and a colorful candy dispenser wall, delighting both kids and adults. The mobile cart, styled with soft pastels and tassels, showcased a beautifully textured cake by Sweets By Leaf, featuring a soft crumble finish and handcrafted details. A vibrant balloon cascade framed the candy dispensers, inviting campers to enjoy treats. Luxe Party Karts specializes in unique, customizable treat experiences, adding sweetness and style to this backyard camp adventure.
Mocktails, anyone?
Poura Vida’s mobile mocktails cart was a showstopper! Guests loved the magical cotton candy mocktail that dissolved into a fizzy, colorful drink right before their eyes. With vibrant, fruity flavors and sparkling creations, every sip was as fun as it was delicious—perfectly matching the cozy, playful pajama sleepover vibe.
A Savory Snack
Guests were treated to savory delights from Josephina’s Empanadas, a Dominican-owned small business specializing in freshly made, handcrafted empanadas. Perfectly flaky and filled with flavorful ingredients, these empanadas could be made to order for any event, making them an ideal catering option. For those craving them beyond the celebration, Josephina’s Empanadas can also be found at Cowboy Coffee in Indialantic Beach.
Just a Little Sweet Treat
Sweets By Leaf brought extra sweetness to the pajama sleepover with her gorgeous cake and a DIY cake pop station for the kids. Little guests loved decorating their own treats, turning dessert time into a fun, hands-on activity full of sprinkles, frosting, and giggles. From the show-stopping cake to the interactive cake pops, every sweet moment was made even more magical in cozy pajamas.
Camping in Style
It wouldn't be a true backyard camp-out if there weren't tents! Thankfully, Space Coast Tent Sleepovers made the pajama party extra magical with tipi-style tents, plush bedding, and goodie bags for every little guest. A bubble machine nearby added a whimsical touch, filling the air with floating bubbles and laughter. Cozy, fun, and full of charm, these tents perfectly tied together the sleepover theme.
The One Who Dreamt it All:
At the heart of the vision was Hannah from Little Confetti Co., who not only crafted the charming main table scape & florals but also organized the entire event from start to finish. Her thoughtful styling brought the backyard camping theme to life in the sweetest way. I also want to highlight how she managed to curate a group of all female business owners - something only a true girl's girl would do.
Hannah recently launched her business full-time, bringing creativity and expert event know-how to every celebration. From her start with balloon arches to full-scale event design, she makes party planning feel effortless and turns any vision into a whimsical reality. For this pajama sleepover, she transformed an ordinary backyard into a cozy wonderland that kids and adults alike will remember. Hannah is available for bookings and estimates through her website or social media, ready to help bring your next unforgettable event to life.
